1. Getting started

You need an invite to sell. Two ways to get access:

  • Creator invite link: Open the link with a code, confirm, then sign up (email or OAuth).
  • Referral code: Already have an account? Use the fan-to-creator page and enter a valid code.

After email verification you’re sent to onboarding.

2. Account and onboarding

Four steps, in order:

  1. Profile: Display name, username (profile URL), phone, image, bio. Sets you as a creator.
  2. Social links: Platform + URL for each. Optional: mark content as NSFW.
  3. Payouts & ship-from: US address for labels and payouts. Validated (state, ZIP). Skip and add later in Dashboard → Settings → Shipping.
  4. Confirmation: Application submits automatically. Under review until approved. No auctions until then.

3. After approval

Before creating auctions:

  • Connect Stripe: Dashboard → Payment. Complete Connect onboarding. Payouts go to this account. Required for auctions.
  • Ship-from address: If you skipped it: Dashboard → Settings → Shipping. Used for all label generation.

4. Creating listings

Auctions

  • Dashboard → Create Auction. Wizard: photos and media, details (title, description, condition), pricing (starting bid, reserve, or buy-now price), shipping weight, then a publish step where you post now or schedule a future start.
  • International shipping: Optional per listing (“Offer international shipping”). Customs forms are generated automatically. No extra info needed from you.
  • Publish immediately or schedule for later. Scheduled auctions appear right away as Upcoming; scheduled buy-now items stay hidden until they go live. Requires approval + Stripe connected.

Drops

  • Simpler form: title, description, price, quantity, image, optional video. For fixed-price, multi-quantity.

5. Link in Bio

One link for every drop

  • Dashboard → Link in Bio. Build a single page at fanvault.shop/your-handle to put in your Instagram or TikTok bio. It shows your links, social icons, and your live drops, courses, and wishlist, all in one place.
  • Blocks: add links, section headings, a socials row, a text block, a “save my contact” card, and collections that pull in your live listings, digital products, or wishlist automatically. Nothing is entered twice: publish a listing and the page reflects it.
  • Look: pick a template, an accent color, a background, button style, and grain. Every combination stays readable by design, so you cannot make something that fails.
  • Draft and publish: edits go to a private draft first. Nothing is public until you press Publish, and your link keeps working the whole time.

Build it with Fanvault AI

  • Open Fanvault AI from the Link in Bio page and ask in plain language: “add my Instagram and TikTok,” “change my theme to something bolder,” or “edit the link to my shop.” The AI edits your draft and shows you a preview before anything goes live.
  • It only publishes when you say so, so you can iterate freely and put it live when it looks right.
  • The same controls are available to any AI assistant connected through the Fanvault MCP (see the MCP page).

6. Fanvault AI

Manage your store on the go

  • Go to Dashboard → Fanvault AI to connect your Telegram account by scanning the QR code or clicking the deep link.
  • Draft Listings: Just send a photo of your item to the Fanvault bot, and our AI will automatically draft a title and listing flow for you.
  • Quick Actions: Use commands like /create, /update, /messages, and /report to natively manage your active listings and reply to bidders from inside the chat.

7. Shipping and fulfillment

Ship-from (Dashboard → Settings → Shipping) is used for every label. When you make a sale:

  1. Order shows in Dashboard → Orders.
  2. Buyer adds or confirms shipping (auctions: after winning).
  3. You generate the label (Shippo). Domestic US and international are supported.
  4. Mark shipped; tracking is saved and buyer is notified.

Shipping fees are per listing; platform keeps them. You get item price minus platform fee.

International shipping

  • If you turned on “Offer international shipping” for a listing, buyers in supported countries (e.g. US, Canada, UK, Mexico, Australia, and many more) can purchase. Shipping cost is calculated at checkout.
  • Labels are generated with the correct carrier and customs (DDU, Delivered Duty Unpaid: buyer is responsible for duties/taxes in their country).
  • Customs forms are generated automatically for international shipments. You don’t need to provide an origin country or tariff code.

8. Payouts and fees

  • Fees: You pay 8% (or 0% with referral waiver). Buyer pays 3% + shipping. Platform keeps shipping revenue.
  • Payouts: After payment, funds go to your Stripe account on Stripe’s schedule.
  • Referrals: Your code is in the dashboard. Referred creator onboards + lists first auction → you get 1 month fee-free (0%). Waivers stack up to 12 months.

9. FAQ

How long does approval take?
The team reviews every creator application by hand, and you are notified as soon as you are approved.
Why connect Stripe?
Fanvault pays you through Stripe Connect, so a connected account is required before you can create auctions.
Does Fanvault support international shipping?
Optionally, per listing. Turn on “Offer international shipping” in the wizard and customs forms are generated automatically. Many countries are supported, including the US, Canada, UK, Mexico and Australia. Buyers in those countries see your listing, get a calculated shipping rate, and you get one international-capable DDU label when you generate it.
What if the buyer did not add a shipping address?
The order waits for the address and we may remind them. If it stalls, email support@fanvaultshop.com and we will help.
How do I change my profile or ship-from address?
Your profile lives under Dashboard then Profile. The ship-from address lives under Dashboard, Settings, then Shipping.
