Pricing
Keep 92% of every sale.
Free to join. No monthly fee, no listing fee. One flat rate, and nothing to work out in advance.
The rate
One number, and it does not move. Fanvault takes 8% of a sale and you keep 92%.
| Feature | Fanvault |
|---|---|
| Platform fee | 8% per sale |
| Monthly subscription | None |
| Listing fee | None |
| Setup cost | None |
| Payout fee | None |
| Contract or minimum term | None |
| Payouts | Stripe Connect, on settlement |
The same rate covers everything you can sell: paywalled photos and videos, courses, physical items, auctions, subscriptions, tips and wishlist gifts. There are no tiers and no volume thresholds, so there is nothing to model before you start.
What you keep
Worked at four order sizes, before shipping. These are computed from the live rate, not typed by hand.
| Feature | Fee (8%) | You keep |
|---|---|---|
| $25 sale | $2 | $23 |
| $100 sale | $8 | $92 |
| $500 sale | $40 | $460 |
| $2,500 sale | $200 | $2,300 |

What buyers pay
Buyers pay a 3% processing fee on top of the item price, shown as its own line at checkout rather than buried in the total. It applies to the item price only, never to shipping, and it is separate from your side of the transaction: your payout is the same whether or not you have a fee waiver on the creator side.
| Feature | Processing (3%) | Buyer pays |
|---|---|---|
| $25 item | $0.75 | $25.75 |
| $100 item | $3 | $103 |
| $500 item | $15 | $515 |
| $2,500 item | $75 | $2,575 |
Shipping, where it applies, is added on top and goes to the carrier.
Referral waiver
Creators who bring other creators to Fanvault can earn a fee waiver. While it is active your platform fee is 0%, which means you keep the entire sale price. Nothing else about the storefront changes, and the buyer processing fee is unaffected.
Shipping
On physical items the buyer pays shipping at checkout and Fanvault generates the prepaid label. You pack the item, attach the label and hand it off. Shipping never comes out of your payout. Digital products, subscriptions and tips deliver themselves, so there is nothing to ship at all.
Pricing FAQ
- How much does Fanvault cost?
- Nothing to join and nothing to list. Fanvault takes a flat 8% of each sale, so creators keep 92%. There is no monthly subscription, no listing fee and no setup cost, which means Fanvault only earns when you earn.
- Does the rate change as I sell more?
- No. The 8% rate is the same on a $25 sale and a $2,500 sale, and it is the same for digital products, physical items, auctions, subscriptions, tips and wishlist gifts. There are no tiers to graduate into and no volume thresholds.
- Is there a fee for buyers?
- Buyers pay a 3% processing fee on the item price at checkout, shown as its own line. It is charged on the item price only, not on shipping, and it does not come out of the creator's side.
- When do creators get paid?
- Payouts go straight to your bank through Stripe Connect once a sale settles. There is no minimum balance to reach and no scheduled payout day to wait for.
- Can I keep 100% of a sale?
- Yes. Creators with an active referral fee waiver pay 0% and keep the full sale price for the length of the waiver. The buyer processing fee is unaffected either way.
- Who pays for shipping?
- The buyer pays shipping at checkout on physical items, and Fanvault generates the prepaid label. You pack the item, attach the label and hand it off, so shipping never comes out of your payout.
