Data Deletion.

Request the deletion of your Instagram data from Fanvault, or check the status of an existing request.

How Instagram data deletion works

When you connected your Instagram account to Fanvault, we stored your Instagram user ID, username, and an access token to verify your creator status, along with a cached copy of your recent public posts so Fanvault AI could reference them. If you also asked us to learn your writing style for paid DMs, we stored a sample of the text of those posts and a description of how you write that was derived from it. We store no private content, and no messages from Instagram. Everything we hold is described in our Privacy Policy.

Either route below deletes all of it: the token, the cached posts, the writing-style sample, and the style description derived from it. Your paid DMs keep working; the AI simply goes back to writing in a general voice rather than yours until you train it again.

You can trigger deletion in two ways:

  • 1Via Instagram settings — go to your Instagram account settings, find Fanvault under "Apps and websites," and remove access. Meta will automatically notify us to delete your data.
  • 2Via your Fanvault settings — go to Settings → Connected Accounts and click "Disconnect Instagram." This immediately removes your token and everything listed above.
