Kai Cenat Just Turned Streamer University Into a Global Franchise

Kai Cenat closed out Streamer University 2026 on Monday with an announcement that turned a personal creator bootcamp into an actual franchise. The 24-year-old streamer told viewers that Streamer University 2027 will be held in Europe, the first time the event leaves the United States. It flips a two-year experiment into the first real creator-owned institution the industry has ever built.

What actually happened?

At the closing ceremony of Streamer University 2026 at Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas, Cenat announced the 2027 edition will move overseas. He said he would fly selected alumni from both the 2025 and 2026 classes to Europe to collide with the creators there. The reveal capped a six-day event that ran July 15 to July 20 and, per Streams Charts, pulled 56.79M hours watched and 1.45M peak concurrent viewers across roughly 6,000 participating channels.

Those numbers more than doubled everything year one did at the University of Akron in May 2025. Cenat's reveal broadcast crossed 1 million live viewers by simulcasting to Twitch and YouTube for the first time, again per Streams Charts. It landed days after he became the most-subscribed streamer on Twitch in just three streams following his return from a break, per Tech Times.

Why does this matter for creators?

Because "creator-owned event" has always meant "single-city stunt with a rap cameo." Cenat is turning it into a repeatable format with an alumni network, a rotating professor roster, and now geographic expansion. The 2026 lineup added Lizzo as a Professor, T-Pain as Club Director of Musical Arts, plus Ludwig, Pokimane, Duke Dennis, Agent00, Maya Higa, Cinna, and NBA shot coach Lethal Shooter running Athletics, per Net Influencer. That is not a bootcamp guest list, that is a creator-economy talent agency assembling itself in public.

The 2027 shortlist basically writes itself. Europe already has the Kick face-of-the-platform tier plus a UK Twitch cohort that has spent five years watching American creators get all the tentpole moments. A Cenat-hosted week in London or Berlin dwarfs any European co-view record on the books.

Where does this go from here?

The template is not subtle. WWE, UFC, F1, and the NFL all run the same playbook: a franchisable tentpole event, a returning alumni network, geographic expansion, and talent tiers that upgrade every year. He has the audience, the money, and now the operating format to turn Streamer University into the WWE of creator IP over the next five years.
